First, a true follower of Jesus should be extremely poor--as poor as the proverbial churchmouse. The Bible makes this quite clear:

There is no reason why any real Christian should feel any suffering on earth:
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened"  --Matt. 7:7-8, Luke 11:9-10

Test your faith.  If you really believe, drink poison.  Nothing should harm you.
Mark 16:17-18---   "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lays hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Do not plan or prepare your life.   God commands it.  God will provide:
"Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or that ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.... Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, not gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feedth them. Are ye not much better than they?"  --Matt. 6:25-34 and Luke 12:22-31 inclusive

If a man has injured his testicles or got his penis cut off, he is damned in the eyes of the Lord.  Make sure to protect your private area:
De:23:1: "He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD."

If your mother was unwed when she gave birth to you, the Lord damns you.  We don't know what to advise about this since you don't have control over this.  Just be happy if you're not one of these:
De:23:2: "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD."

Ammonites and Moabites are damned by the Lord:
De:23:3: "An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever"

The Lord prohibits eating rare meat.   A warning to those sinners who like their steaks rare:
Le:19:26: "Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood."

I'm sure we've all experienced countless so-called Christians who, according to His words, will not enter the Kingdom of God because they refuse to face the fact that they are living in adultery.   Many close their eyes to these words:
A true follower of Jesus can neither divorce someone
: "So they are no longer two but one flesh.  What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder" (Matt. 19:6, Mark 10:9),
nor marry someone who is divorced, "whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery" (Matt. 5:32, 19:9, Luke 16:18).
There is an exception to the former, however. If the spouse commits adultery, divorce is permissible: "Whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery" (Matt. 5:32).
The Bible also says that anyone who obtains a divorce and marries another is an adulterer: "...whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her" (Mark 10:11, Luke 16:18),
which applies to women as well--Mark 10:12.
In essence, according to Christ's teachings:

The Lord teaches that if a man's brother dies while his wife is without child, he is to take his brother's wife as his own:
De:25:5: "If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her."
De:25:6: "And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel."

The Lord does not like men with long hair:
"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"--1 Cor. 11:14

Here is a warning to women.  Women are prohibited from being ministers or otherwise from speaking in church:
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak"--1 Cor.14:34

If you want to avoid going to Hell, make sure you don't cross-dress:
"The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God"--Deut. 22:5

Do not accept the institution of capital punishment.  If you do, God will destroy you:
1 Cor. 3:16-17 says, "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's spirit dwells in you?  If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him."

Catholics will not go to Heaven.   Don't be one:
Matt. 6:7 says, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
Matt. 23:9 says, "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven"

The Lord doesn't like women dressing up too much, or women with braided hair (a warning to ghetto women):
"...that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in seemly apparel, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly attire"--1 Tim. 2:9
"Let not yours be the outward adorning of braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing"--1 Peter 3:3

Pretty self-explanatory.  If you can't say this, then you can't claim to be a disciple:
"If any man come to me, and not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethern, and sister, yet, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple"--Luke 14:26
